Nos EUA, população negra tem 50% menos chance de ser contratada em uma entrevista de emprego
Os dados foram apresentados em uma campanha antiracismo que ganhou repercussão no país de Barack Obama
Baltimore e Ferguson, episódios recentes envolvendo racismo, violência policial e assassinatos de jovens negros inocentes em um país que celebra a democracia como sua principal virtude cívica. Por outro lado, tais eventos trazem à tona a raiz de uma questão ainda sem resposta e velada sob a falsa ideia que, nos Estados Unidos, todos são iguais.
Por isso, uma campanha divulgada por lá evidencia, entre outras formas de segregação, o apartheid social no ambiente profissional, levando em conta as oportunidades entre a população branca e negra no país de Barack Obama.
Segundo as informações do vídeo, currículos com nomes de origem afrodescendente tem 50% menos chance de receber um retorno dos empregadores.
A campanha destaca ainda que, motoristas negros, tem duas vezes mais chances de serem parados em blitz policiais e adolescentes homens tem 21 mais chances de serem assassinados pela polícia do que jovens brancos.
