Mostra “Kenneth Anger, o Fetichista Pop”
De 4 a 15 de maio o Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil realiza a mostra “Kenneth Anger, o Fetichista Pop”, com entrada gratuita. A mostra exibe ao público os clássicos de Kenneth Anger, bem como sua produção mais recente.
Kenneth Anger, apesar de ter realizado seu primeiro filme aos 9 anos, ‘Who’s Been Rocking My Dreamboat?’, do qual não restam vestígios, ficou conhecido com Fireworks, rodado em 1947, quando tinha cerca de 20 anos.
Ali, já era possível perceber algumas das características de sua alquimia que se desenvolveu ao longo da história: mistura de erotismo, surrealismo, ocultismo, cores e tempos.
Um dos expoentes do cinema experimental marginal norte-americano, sua obra singular influenciou de forma indiscutível a sétima arte do século XX, independentemente de fronteiras nacionais. Depois de ter parado de filmar em 1976, ele voltou à criação em 2000.
