Dealing with acne is hard but it’s not the end of the world. I don’t want to cover it up as I find this makes it worse but I also feel ashamed to go out in public although my advice to anyone would be not to feel this way and to embrace your skin because it will get better ✨ I believe in sharing our stories as we can help each other and what we go through only helps us grow stronger as people ???? I have been on a vegan diet for 6 months, consisting of vegetables, low gi fruits and grains, beans and healthy fats like avocado! Previous to being vegan I still ate very clean the only difference is now I don’t eat chicken/ fish. I have suffered with digestive problems for years. I cut out gluten, wheat, any processed foods as I found this made me very ill! Eating whole foods makes me feel best ✨ Remember to find what works for you, everybody is different! I work out 4-5 times a week, drink lots of water and use natural skin care products! My skin is the worst it’s been at the moment but hoping it’s all the toxins clearing out, healthy inside = healthy outside ???? I want to share with you tips that have helped me but remember everybody is different and what works for one person may not work for you! Listen to your body, learn to love and accept yourself! I would love to hear other people’s stories and what has worked for you ???? #acne #hormonalacne #recovery #anxiety #vegan #positive #loveyourself #journey #acneproblems #adultacne #clearskin #acnesufferer #acnesucks #acnejourney #mind #body #soul #selflove #spiritual #life #embraceyourflaws

This was this morning before work. A little update to say I’ve had no new spots! ???? Which is very rare for me I used to always wake up with a new one. The bigger lumps that appeared under my skin all along my jawline have also gone down ???????? My skin seems to be loving higher fat/ low carb which suites me fine because I love Avocado ???? If you don’t feel like the medication route is for you don’t feel pressured into taking it. Have a look into your what your eating first and see whether there is anything you can do change that. Listen to your body and do what feels right for you. A healthy inside = healthy outside ???? I love the messages I am receiving from all of you. You are all so kind and beautiful. Thank you for supporting me. Whatever stage your at with your skin don’t give up. I know how much it can effect you mentally but don’t let it beat you. Pick yourself back up and smile because you are worthy. You don’t need to be accepted by others. Accept yourself. You will feel loads better I promise you ????❤️ ———————————————— #acne #anxiety #recovery #positive #selflove #loveyourself #mindset #natural #journey #life #acceptance #love #behappy #smile #mind #soul #chakra #inspiration #determination #spiritual #growth #girl #strength #vegan #strong #youareenough #blogger #healing #health #highfat

????My progress since starting this page???? no Medication ✖️ High fat vegan plant based diet (nothing processed) Real whole foods, natural minimal skin care routine ✔️ People are happy to take strong medication that can lead to bad side effects in are bodies but aren’t willing to change there diet which is safe and better for our health. Remember that everyone has there struggles in life. Most of us choose not share them. Most people with acne don’t share it because there ashamed but why should we it’s only a stage in our life it won’t last forever and it certainly doesn’t make us any less of a person. Clear skin or acne you are the same person. I get asked how can I be confident when my skin looks like this? The reason I decided to accept myself for how I looked is because for years I suffered with acne and for years I let my mental health take over, ruin relationships, stop me going out ect all because I was insecure and worried about other people’s opinions. Because let’s be honest acne isn’t nice to look at. I knew I couldn’t carry on being this hard on myself to the point I would cry and have a lot of built up stress causing headaches. I thought about the days when I used to have no worries when I was younger and here’s what I came up with- I wasn’t living life trying to impress anyone I wore no makeup so never felt less beautiful I didn’t spend my time trying to make myself look perfect I didn’t sit at home comparing myself to others on Instagram It’s the world we live in today that makes us think like this. I don’t want young girls feeling the same way I did. I don’t want them to think they have to look a certain way to be accepted or beautiful. They need more role models embracing there real natural selfs because that is real life. I know how hard it can be but please please practice self love and believe in yourself this alone will make you feel better ????????✨ ————————————————

✨7 WEEKS PROGRESS PICTURE ✨The picture on the left was when my skin was at its worst. My acne was cystic, red, sore and I had bumps underneath my skin. I felt like I wanted to give up at this point. I then decided to give my diet one last change before I would have seen a dermatologist. I took pictures of my skin so I could see the results as to whether what I was doing was working or not and I started seeing the difference day by day. I wanted to share with you the realism of what people go through. Unfortunately acne isn’t seen as normal and is thought as ‘ugly’ but it’s something so many of us experience. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. What is to be ashamed of is the perception of what we are supposed to look like. The picture on the right is my skin today! My scars are being treated with natural skincare products that I have found work my skin and I do want to avoid having any treatments to get rid of them. They need time to heal and I’m okay with that. Whatever journey your on to clear you skin don’t give up on yourself. There is always light ???????? —————————————————– #acne #acnetreatment #loveyourself #selflove #healing #acnescars #recovery #vegan #nontoxic #love #wellness #happy #happiness #inspiration #enlightenment #journey #growth #natural #beauty #transformation #acceptance #spiritual #mindfulness #plantbased #positivity #soul #yoga #youarebeautiful #youarenotalone #youareenough

I hope everyone is having a loving weekend ???? The weather was nice today so I spent most of the day sat in sun as it naturally helps heal my skin ???? I get asked the question a lot … ‘how do you feel confident not wearing makeup’ , ‘how do you go about doing your daily life not wearing makeup’? So Monday-Friday I’m working full time in an office then I’ll go straight to the gym. For me I don’t like wearing makeup for a long period of time and for me to be sat in an office all day I don’t feel I need to wear any. I don’t wear makeup to the gym, again so I don’t feel the need to wear it as I’ll be sweating and don’t want to clog my pores. If I’m going out for a meal, with friends, night out / occasion of corse I love getting ready to make the effort to wear it. If you wear makeup everyday your still beautiful and if you don’t your still beautiful. Do what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. I have scars/ marks on my face but I shouldn’t have to cover them to feel beautiful. I have learnt to accept myself for who I am and that’s why I feel confident enough to go out with no makeup. I no longer fear what other people think of me because I’m happy within myself that I don’t care ???? I want you to feel happy and confident about yourself because you deserve to be kind to yourself ⭐️ ———————————————————- #nomakeup #acne #acnescars #vegan #mind #soul #journey #spiritual #healing #acceptance #believe #love #selflove #lifestyle #blogger #veganbeauty #vegancommunity #plantbased #healthy #wellness #sun #enlightenment #mindfulness #beautiful #crueltyfree #smile #happiness #kindness #beautypageant #girl
